Mission
In light of universal values, the Department of History of Art is committed to educating individuals who are equipped and capable of using modern technologies in their profession, as well as presenting their production in the fields of research, education and service. The training of qualified art historians who can present our country's unique cultural assets with scientific methods as well as staff who can preserve and exhibit these artifacts according to current museum practices is among our important duties. The goal of our department is to have a voice both in the field and in raising scientists on a global scale with archaeological projects.
Vision
* To promote the immovable cultural assets of the region in the tourism potential of our country and to play a leading role in this issue.
* To develop projects in the nature of interdisciplinary excavations for the cultural assets of the region with the support of contemporary knowledge and technology.
* To train graduates who have a chance to work at national and international level, who are multifaceted, open to communication, research and presentation skills, knowledgeable and equipped.
