Our department's students have had their projects on the preservation and promotion of Bartın's cultural heritage accepted by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). The projects, prepared by our students Sıla Çevik and Kahraman Sarıbal, have been accepted by TÜBİTAK, making our department proud.
Sıla Çevik's project, titled "Documentation and Evaluation of Bartın's Ottoman Urban Fabric Through Photographs," prepared under the supervision of Dr. Abdül Halim Varol, aims to document and evaluate Bartın's historical urban fabric through photographs. The project aims to contribute to the preservation of the city's unique architectural values.
Kahraman Sarıbal's project, titled "Investigation of Bartın University Students' Awareness Levels Towards Archaeological Sites and Lost Heritage and Development of Conservation-Oriented Social Media Content," prepared under the supervision of Dr. Handan Bilici, will focus on measuring young people's awareness of archaeological heritage and developing social media content aimed at increasing conservation awareness.
The acceptance of our students' projects highlights both their academic achievements and their contribution to the preservation and promotion of Bartın's cultural heritage. We congratulate our students on this success and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
